At MehtA+ (mehta plus), we pride ourselves in going beyond the superficial – empowering and equipping the next generation of innovators with the understanding and skills they need to solve the world’s most pressing problems. With a curriculum that seamless integrates advanced theory with real-world application, we encourage our students to delve into the most cutting-edge topics in research and industry.
Our team comprises of instructors hailing from prestigious institutions such as MIT, Stanford, Harvard and other renowned universities. Since 2020, we have been providing interdisciplinary university-level project-based learning opportunities for our students. We collaborate with startup and universities worldwide, offering students invaluable real-world experiences.
In order to make our opportunities accessible to all students, we offer need-based financial aid students and region-based pricing for our camps. We also have a free educational YouTube & TikTok Channel, @misspawsandfriends taught by an MIT-educated cat and her friends.
Besides offering interdisciplinary camps and workshops, we offer admissions consulting to support students in their academic journey. The MehtA+ teaching team consists of an extensive network of instructors from top universities – many of whom are MehtA+ graduates. Our team tutors students in school subjects and standardized test prep, mentors students on hands-on projects and coaches students in AMC and other competitions.
MehtA+ expects the same discipline, dedication and determination from our instructors, as we do from our students. Our A+ instruction not only prepares students to get accepted to their dream colleges, but also more importantly thrive in their dream colleges. Our team has taught more than 500 students who have received 30+ scores on their ACT, perfect scores on SAT subject tests, learned some of the most in-demand skills in the job market and have been admitted to some of the top most universities in the countries such as MIT, Stanford, Harvard, Princeton, Cornell, Carnegie Mellon, University of Toronto, Johns Hopkins and UIUC.
MehtA+ was founded by Mehta sibling duo, Haripriya Mehta (MIT ’20) and Bhagirath Mehta (Stanford ’22)! Inspired by their great-great-grandfather who taught princesses in India and started his own school, the Mehta siblings started MehtA+ to share their love for learning. In high school, both siblings received a 5 on the AP Calculus BC exam (12th grade course) in 8th grade, were valedictorians of their high school, received 36 on their ACTs, were National Merit Finalists, were Semi-finalists in Chemistry Olympiad, are award-winning authors in a prestigious social science journal and cofounded a club where they applied engineering skills for social good.
HARIPRIYA MEHTA
CO-FOUNDER, MIT
Haripriya graduated from MIT in four years with a Bachelors and Masters in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and a Minor in Music. She has worked and interned as a software engineer at several large companies including Microsoft Azure, Amazon Audible and Nordstrom and written research papers in the fields of artificial intelligence, cryptography and human-computer interaction.
BHAGIRATH MEHTA
CO-FOUNDER, Stanford
Bhagirath graduated from Stanford in four years with a double major and Masters in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. He has interned and worked as a software engineer at Microsoft and Amazon and Silicon Valley startups. He led the Stanford Trading Team to a first place victory at the International Rotman Trading Competition, beating 50 teams from all over the world.
